Sure, the music played a big part in the spread of the movement. Ramones, The Clash, Black Flag, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, along with The Stooges and punk’s O.G. Iggy Pop, just to name a few.

So, is punk dead? Not at all. It’s alive and it won. How? By never taking itself too seriously and staying true to core values of respect, tolerance and equality. Signs that it’s still spreading are everywhere, even if new obstacles will always keep popping up.
